Exposure to radical propaganda in all of its forms & the radicalisation of young & vulnerable people is a growing issue in today’s world. We all have a duty of care to safeguard & to help prevent radicalisation.
The session will provide:
- Knowledge & awareness to recognise the signs & symptoms of radicalisation
- Understanding of the factors that influence vulnerability to radicalisation
- Understanding of the roles & responsibilities of adults in relation to ‘Prevent Duty’, safeguarding & Ofsted expectations
- Confidence to challenge extremist ideas and establish counter-narratives
